A 19-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly gang-raped on September 14 in a village in the Chandpa police station area of Hathras district. Police have arrested four accused in the case.Kohli, who is playing in the IPL in the UAE, tweeted, “What happened in Hathras is inhumane and cruel. Hopefully, the perpetrators of this heinous crime will be punished. ”
Police said that the victim was admitted to JN Medical College Hospital in Aligarh after the incident, on Monday morning he was sent to Delhi for treatment as his condition was critical.Earlier, Hathras Superintendent of Police Vikrant Veer told the Superintendent of Police that the girl’s throat was also strangled during the incident, as a result of which her tongue came out and was cut.
